Open & Close POS

Bistro Manager provide open & close POS function to prevent mistake on cash sales. To use this function, follow the instruction below:

1. Go to https://bis.dbdb.com.au/login.php, Sign in with your Cashier ID (Only the Cashier ID can do open & close POS).

2. On main POS page press Small Star button (Dark Purple), your will see drop down list. Press Open & Close POS button.

3. You will see the page similar to illustrated below.

4. Insert the notes and coins that you start with. Then press Open POS button.

5. Now POS is opened, you can start your sales now.

6. End of the day, before you close the shop. You need to do Close POS. Repeat the step 2.

7. You will see the page similar to illustrated below.


8. Count the notes and coins left in the cash drawer, insert the amount into money calculator (left half of page). The money that you count must be same as Cash Total on right hand side. Type in the Cash that you want Left for next day. Then press Close POS button to continue.


9. You can see the sales summary for the day on left hand side. You can press Print Summary to print the sales summary. Press Close Window to finish it.
