Manage Category

Category is made to group items from similar or same family. This can be utilised to place items into a category (In POS system & retail manger) helping users to find the item inside its category rather than having a whole bunch of list racing down the page. 

In retail manager, category can be found as illustrated below:

Adding Category

Please follow the instruction below to add category(s).

1. Go to item then category see the illustration on top of the page. 

2. Press + button to add new category! Then fill the field with desired category name.

3. Then Press +Add Category. 

4. Now press OK to confirm.

5. You'll find New Category added to the list.

Modifying Category

To modify category name follow the instruction below.

1. Go to item and press category, see top of the page. 

2. Press Modify button.

3. Change the category name in the field provided. Then press Save Changes.

4. Press OK to confirm.

5. You'll find the name has been modify see below!

Deleting Category

Follow the instruction below to delete category.

1. Go to item and press category, see top of the page. 

2. Press Modify button for the Category which needs to be deleted.

3. Then Press Delete Category.

4. Press OK to confirm.

5. Now you'll find selected category has been removed off the list.
